Frequently asked questions

What kind of demolition work do you do?

We do interior demolition and dismantling: taking apart furniture and kitchen units, demolishing walls and partition walls, removing floor and ceiling coverings, dismantling structures, and dismantling appliances, bathroom fittings and industrial equipment. We work in flats, houses, offices and on building sites.

Do you demolish whole buildings?

No. We do not demolish buildings – we only do interior demolition and dismantling. For larger sites we recommend turning to a demolition company with the right machinery and permits.

How much does demolition work cost?

The labour is 48 € per hour per worker (VAT included), i.e. 96 €/h with two workers. The minimum is 1 hour, and after the first hour we count time in 15-minute steps. The waste station fee is added: bulky waste 31 €/m³, construction and demolition waste 41.30 €/m³.

How long does demolition work take?

Demolition usually takes more time than an ordinary removal – the material has to be taken apart, collected and only then carried out. For example, dismantling and removing kitchen units takes about 2 hours, demolishing a partition wall 4 hours or more. We give a more precise estimate based on photos.

What is included in the working time?

The working time covers the demolition itself, loading the debris, the drive to the waste station, unloading and finishing up. That way one order covers both the demolition and the removal of the debris.

Is removing the debris included in the price?

The removal is charged by the working time and the waste station fee, but it comes with the same order. It is always cheaper to order demolition and removal from one place, because the debris goes straight into the van and on to the station.

Do you do plumbing and electrical work?

No. We do not do plumbing or electrical work. We do dismantle old bathroom fittings and appliances, provided the water and electrical connections have been shut off or disconnected beforehand.

What is interior demolition?

Interior demolition means demolishing the inside of a building while the building itself stays – for example removing an old bathroom, kitchen, partition walls, floor coverings or ceilings before a renovation. That is exactly the kind of work we do.

Do you need a permit for demolition?

Changing load-bearing structures and larger works generally need a design and a permit from the local authority; ordinary interior demolition (removing tiles or kitchen units, for example) generally does not. The client is responsible for permits and the design – check this with your local authority or designer.

What is heavy lifting?

Large, bulky and heavy structures count as heavy lifting. For such work the price is agreed individually – send a photo and a description and we will give you the price.

Do you also deliver building materials?

Yes. We bring building materials to the site and carry them up, even without a lift. Price from 84 €/h (2 workers + van). One order can cover bringing the new material and taking the old debris away.

Do you come and look first?

For a smaller job we give the price based on photos and a description. For a larger site we give an indicative price and, if it suits you, we come and take a look and give an exact price. Or we start right away on an hourly basis.

How quickly can you come?

We reply to an enquiry within a few hours and usually start within 1–3 days. We work weekends and evenings by prior agreement.

How does payment work?

Private customers pay on the spot right after loading and receive the delivery note and the necessary documents. With companies we agree the payment method in advance – usually by bank transfer against an invoice; please send the company details beforehand. After that we take everything to the waste station officially ourselves.

Do you also work with companies?

Yes, we serve both private customers and companies – construction and renovation firms, offices, housing associations and property managers. Companies can pay by bank transfer and we provide the waste station receipt if needed.

Which areas do you work in?

We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well. In central Tallinn (Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe and the near ends of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita) no travel time is added. On the outskirts of Tallinn and in Harju County (e.g. Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Viimsi, Tiskre, Peetri) travel time from our base at Mustamäe tee 6b to the site and back is added.
