Service terms
These terms apply to all our services – removal and disposal, property clearance, demolition, heavy lifting, furniture transport, freight transport, furniture assembly and hire of workers. They apply together with the written quotation that we send before the work starts.
- Valid from 04.11.2026
- Quotation always in writing
- Liability insurance in place
- Waste permit L.JÄ/333085
The most important points in brief
Below are all the terms point by point. If you are short of time, these six things matter most.
Labour + waste station fee
Labour is charged by the hour, the waste station fee by cubic metre. Both are agreed in writing before the work starts.
One hour
After that we count in 15-minute steps. Some services have a longer minimum – see the table below.
24 hours in advance
If you cancel later, one working hour is charged at the agreed hourly rate.
Standard rate until 18:00
From 18:00 a 15% surcharge applies, from 23:00 30%. We work evenings and weekends by agreement.
Up to 5% deviation
If there is significantly more than agreed, we do as much as we can fit in and book a new time for the rest.
Report within 2 days
Damage must be noted on the delivery note straight away or reported to us within 2 calendar days after the work ends.
1. General provisions
- The service provider is Transit Expert OÜ (registry code 14007922, VAT no. EE101859927), address Mustamäe tee 6b, Tallinn 10621. Hereinafter “we”.
- The client is a natural or legal person who orders the service. Hereinafter “the client”.
- These terms apply together with the written quotation. If the quotation and the terms conflict, what was agreed in the quotation prevails.
- By confirming an order (by e-mail, phone, web form or message) the client confirms that they have read these terms and agree to them.
- All prices on the website include VAT.
2. Order and quotation
- To send a quotation we need the address, the floor and lift details, a list or photos of what is to be taken away, and details of any extra work (dismantling, packing, sorting).
- For a small quantity we send a fixed price. For a larger quantity we give an indicative price and the final amount is based on the actual time and volume on site.
- For a larger job we can come and look at the situation before the work, if you wish.
- If it turns out on site that the work differs significantly from what was described, we agree a new price with the client before continuing.
3. Booking and cancellation
Cancellation costs 0 € up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. If you cancel later, one working hour is charged at the hourly rate agreed in the quotation.
- The same rule applies if the crew arrives on site but the work cannot start for reasons on the client side – for example no access, no keys or nobody present.
- The time can be changed up to 24 hours in advance if we have a crew free at the requested time. We confirm the new time in writing.
- If we have to cancel for reasons on our side, we offer the nearest free time or cancel the order at no charge.
- In the event of force majeure (weather, road closure, accident, technical failure) we agree a new time with no cancellation fee.
4. Start and end of the work, time counting
- The working time starts when the crew has arrived on site.
- The count ends when the last item has been unloaded or handed over at the waste station and the delivery note has been signed.
- The minimum charge is the first hour, unless agreed otherwise in the quotation.
- After the first hour we count the time in 15-minute steps – every quarter hour started counts. For example, 1 hour and 6 minutes is rounded to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- A high floor without a lift, a narrow stairwell and a long carrying distance add working time. This is reflected in the final invoice.
Minimum time by service
| Service | Minimum |
|---|---|
| Removal, disposal, property clearance | 1 hour |
| Furniture transport, freight transport, moving service | 1 hour |
| Demolition and construction waste removal | 1 hour |
| Furniture assembly and installation work – two specialists | 1.5 hours |
| Furniture assembly and installation work – one specialist | 2 hours |
| Hire of workers – two workers | 1.5 hours |
| Hire of workers – one worker | 2 hours |
5. Service area and travel time
We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well.
No travel time added
Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe, the near end of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita.
Travel time to the site and back is added
For example Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Mähe, Merivälja, Pirita-Kose, Pärnamäe, the far end of Lasnamäe, Tiskre, Peetri, Luige, Järveküla, Loo, Muraste, Haabneeme, Randvere, Kose, Maardu, and the municipalities of Viimsi, Harku, Rae, Saue, Saku, Kiili and Jõelähtme.
- The start and end point for the calculation is our base at Mustamäe tee 6b, Tallinn. We calculate the route and the time using Google Maps.
- Outside Tallinn a kilometre charge of 1.00–1.60 €/km is added depending on the vehicle and the size of the crew – the exact rates are in the transport service price list.
- Outside Harju County we agree the time or kilometre charge before the work.
- Travel time is also added when the loading or unloading place is outside Tallinn.
6. Working hours and special rates
| Time | Rate |
|---|---|
| Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00 | Weekday hourly rate |
| Sat 10:00–18:00 | Saturday hourly rate – higher than on weekdays |
| Sun 12:00–18:00 | Sunday hourly rate – the highest |
| Public holidays | Sunday hourly rate |
| From 18:00 | 15% is added to the hourly rate of that day |
| From 23:00 | 30% is added to the hourly rate of that day |
- Officially we work until 18:00. We work evenings, nights and public holidays by prior agreement.
- A higher hourly rate applies on Saturdays and Sundays – the exact amounts are in point 7 and in the transport service price list.
- The special rate applies only to the hours that fall within that period – not to the whole job.
- If the work starts during standard hours and runs past 18:00, we apply the special rate only to the hours worked after 18:00.
Example. A weekday job starts at 14:00, hourly rate 84 €, and ends at 01:00.
The waste station fee is added according to the actual volume.
7. How the price is calculated
The price of removal and disposal always has two parts: labour (crew and van by the hour) and Waste station fee (the actual volume in cubic metres).
| Crew and van | MON–FRI | SAT | SUN |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 worker + 14 m³ van | 68 €/h | 77 €/h | 86 €/h |
| 2 workers + 14 m³ van | 84 €/h | 102 €/h | 120 €/h |
| 3 workers + 14 m³ van | 102 €/h | 127 €/h | 152 €/h |
| 1 worker + 21 m³ box van | 80 €/h | 89 €/h | 98 €/h |
| 2 workers + 21 m³ box van | 96 €/h | 114 €/h | 132 €/h |
| 3 workers + 21 m³ box van | 114 €/h | 139 €/h | 164 €/h |
Other work
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Demolition and construction waste removal | 48 €/h per worker |
| Furniture assembly | 40 €/h per specialist |
| Installation work | 48 €/h per specialist |
| Hire of workers (without a van) | 36–48 €/h per worker |
| Heavy lifting (from 80 kg) | from 120 €/h (2 workers) |
Full price lists: removal and disposal and transport and moving. Moving service price list: uksestukseni.ee.
8. Waste station fee and volume calculation
We pay the waste station fee on the spot and add it to the invoice. On request we provide the waste station receipt.
| Waste type | Price |
|---|---|
| Bulky waste – furniture, mattresses, junk | 31 €/m³ |
| Construction and demolition waste | 41.30 €/m³ |
| Unsorted mixed waste | 41.30 €/m³ |
| Concrete, bricks, ceramics (sorted) | 31 €/m³ |
| Asbestos cement sheeting | 62 €/m³ |
| Metal, untreated wood, complete appliances | 0 € |
| Fridge with parts removed | 15.50 €/pc |
- The crew estimates the volume on site – the client does not have to measure anything.
- The volume is calculated as the length times the width times the height of the pile, and multiplied by the price of the waste type.
- If the waste is mixed and cannot be handed over separately at the station, the unsorted waste rate applies to the whole load.
- The waste station sets these prices. If the station changes them, that part of our invoice changes accordingly.
9. Heavy lifting
- Heavy lifting means work where an item weighs 80 kg or more and has to be lifted by hand – for example a piano, a cast iron bathtub, a safe or a large machine.
- We also treat it as heavy lifting when an item does not fit through a door, a stairwell or another narrow place with reasonable effort.
- The price of heavy lifting is agreed in advance in writing.
- If the client does not mention a heavy item before the work, the crew agrees the price on site. If the crew is not equipped for such a lift, we have the right to decline it.
10. When there is more than agreed
A deviation of up to 5% from the agreed volume is normal and we handle it without separate approval.
- If there is significantly more, we do as much as fits into the booked time and agree a new time for the rest.
- We do it this way because other clients are waiting for us the same day and we cannot move their time.
- If the crew still has time that day and the van has room, we finish the job straight away – the extra time and volume go on the invoice at the standard rate.
- To avoid this, send photos or an exact list before the work. The more precise the information, the more precise the quotation.
11. What we do not take
- Hazardous waste: paints, varnishes, solvents, glues, oils and greases.
- Chemicals and other liquids.
- Gas cylinders and pressure vessels.
- Flammable, explosive and toxic substances.
- Medicines, accumulators and batteries in larger quantities.
- Biological waste and animal remains.
A private person can take hazardous waste to the city waste station at 0 €. If you are not sure, send a photo – we will tell you in advance whether we can take it.
12. Client obligations
- Ensure access to the site and, if possible, a parking space for the van near the main door.
- Gas appliances must be disconnected from the gas supply before the work. A gas stove must be disconnected by a specialist with a gas work licence – we do not do this.
- Fridges, washing machines and dishwashers must be emptied, drained of water and unplugged before the work.
- Remove personal belongings, documents and valuables from the furniture that will be taken away.
- Tell us in advance if an item is especially heavy, fragile or valuable.
- Tell us in advance if the building has no lift or the stairwell is narrow.
- Obtain permission from the housing association or the building manager if the building requires it – for example to use the lift or to carry out a larger quantity.
13. Liability, damage and insurance
Damage must be noted on the delivery note when the work is accepted, or reported to us within 2 calendar days after the work ends. Claims submitted later cannot be processed, because the circumstances in which the damage occurred can no longer be established.
- We have liability insurance. It covers damage caused by our fault in accordance with the terms of the insurance contract.
- A claim must be submitted in writing to info@aravedu.ee together with photos and a description of the damage.
- We are not liable for damage arising from the item previous condition, a hidden defect or wear and tear.
- We are not liable for damage that occurs because the client did not warn us about the special weight, fragility or value of an item.
- We are not liable for personal belongings, documents or valuables left inside furniture or boxes.
- We are not liable for damage that occurs when moving an item through a narrow stairwell or doorway if we have warned the client about the risk and the client asked us to continue anyway.
14. Payment
- A private customer pays right after the work, against the delivery note.
- A company pays by prior agreement – on site or by bank transfer. Please send the company details before the work starts.
- When paying by bank transfer, the due date is stated on the invoice.
- With partners and contractual clients we agree the payment terms separately.
- On payment we issue a delivery note and an invoice. On request we also provide the waste station receipt.
- If payment of the invoice is delayed, we have the right to charge interest of 0.5% per day on the unpaid amount.
15. Personal data and disputes
- We process client data in order to provide the service and for accounting. Details: privacy policy.
- We settle disputes by negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is settled in Harju County Court.
- A consumer has the right to turn to the consumer disputes committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, Endla 10a, Tallinn).
- We have the right to change these terms. An order is governed by the terms that were on the website at the moment the order was confirmed.
