How does construction waste removal work?

  1. Send the details

The address, the floor, whether there is a lift, and a couple of photos of the debris or the approximate quantity.
  2. You get the price

We give the price before the work based on photos, or on site before loading.
  3. We arrive

Two workers carry the debris out and load it into the van. You do not have to lift anything.
  4. Payment and removal

Frequently asked questions

Price and payment

How much does construction waste removal cost?

The price consists of labour at 96 €/h (2 workers × 48 €/h + van, minimum 1 hour) and the waste station fee of 41.30 €/m³. For example, 2 m³ of renovation debris in bags costs roughly 179 €.

Why is the labour rate higher for construction debris?

Carrying construction debris is heavy, dirty work: blocks and full bags often weigh 40–50 kg, and afterwards both clothes and the van have to be cleaned. That is why the labour rate for construction debris is 48 €/h per worker, i.e. 96 €/h with two workers.

Why is the fee for construction waste higher than for furniture?

In the Tallinn Circular Economy Centre price list the rate for mixed construction and demolition debris is 41.30 €/m³, and 31 €/m³ for bulky waste (furniture, for example). Separately sorted concrete, bricks and ceramics also cost 31 €/m³. Construction waste is also heavy, so carrying it takes more time. We add no mark-up to the station fee.

Should I order a skip or removal by van?

With a skip you have to carry the debris out yourself and the skip stands on site for several days. Our crew carries the debris out themselves and takes it to the waste station the same day – which suits flats and smaller renovations especially well.

How does payment work?

Private customers pay on the spot right after loading and receive the delivery note and the necessary documents. With companies we agree the payment method in advance – usually by bank transfer against an invoice; please send the company details beforehand. After that we take everything to the waste station officially ourselves.

How the work goes and the schedule

Do you take the debris out from a high floor without a lift?

Yes. Two workers carry the debris out from any floor. A high floor without a lift adds working time, so state the floor and whether there is a lift in your enquiry.

Does the debris have to be in bags?

No, but debris in bags is loaded faster and the price comes out lower. Large pieces – doors, windows, tiles, timber – can be in a separate pile.

Do I have to sort the construction debris?

No, but it pays off. Sorted concrete, bricks and ceramics cost 31 €/m³ at the station, while as mixed debris they cost 41.30 €/m³; untreated wood and metal cost 0 €. Loading and unloading into the containers also go faster, so the working time comes out shorter too.

How quickly can you come?

We reply to an enquiry within a few hours and usually start within 1–3 days. We work weekends and evenings by prior agreement.

Practical questions

What is construction waste?

Construction and demolition waste comes from renovation, building and demolition – for example plasterboard, timber, tiles, stone, concrete, bricks, old windows and doors, floor coverings and building packaging.

Do you also take asbestos cement sheeting?

Yes. According to the Tallinn Circular Economy Centre price list the station fee for asbestos cement sheeting is 62 €/m³ for a company (VAT included) – considerably higher than for ordinary construction debris. The sheeting is kept separate in the load and taken to the Rahumäe waste station. Mention the sheeting in your enquiry and we will include it in the price.

Do you also deliver building materials?

Yes. We bring building materials – plasterboard, tiles, mortars, laminate, doors and more – from the shop or warehouse to the site and carry them up, even without a lift. Price from 84 €/h (2 workers + van), minimum 1 hour. With one order we can bring the new material and take the old debris away.

Do you also do demolition work?

Yes – see demolition works. We can demolish an old bathroom, floor or partition wall and take the debris away right away.

What do you not take?

We do not transport hazardous waste (paints, varnishes, oils, chemicals, solvents). We do take asbestos cement sheeting, but it has a separate rate. If you are not sure whether something is acceptable, send a photo – we will tell you right away.

Do you also work with companies?

Yes, we serve both private customers and companies – construction and renovation firms, housing associations and property managers, for example. Companies can pay by bank transfer and we provide the waste station receipt if needed.

Which areas do you work in?

We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well. In central Tallinn (Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe and the near ends of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita) no travel time is added. On the outskirts of Tallinn and in Harju County (e.g. Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Viimsi, Tiskre, Peetri) travel time from our base at Mustamäe tee 6b to the site and back is added.

Do you also do moving and home delivery?
