How does old furniture removal work?

  1. Send the details

The address, the floor, whether there is a lift, and a list or a couple of photos of the furniture.
  2. You get the price

We give the price before the work based on photos or a list, or on site before loading.
  3. We arrive

Two workers carry the furniture out and take it apart if needed. You do not have to lift anything.
  4. Payment and removal

A private customer pays on the spot right after loading and receives the delivery note. With a company we agree the payment in advance – bank transfer included. After that we take everything to the waste station officially ourselves.

Tip: if you have time, before we arrive put the furniture and other bulky waste, the appliances, and the clothes and textiles into separate piles. That way loading and unloading at the station go faster, and the working time and the price come out lower.

Frequently asked questions

Price and payment

How much does sofa removal cost?

Removing a sofa costs the labour (from 84 €, minimum 1 hour) plus the waste station fee. A corner sofa is about 2 m³, which makes the station fee about 62 €. We give the exact price before the work based on photos or a list.

Is furniture removal free of charge?

Our service is paid: you pay the labour and the waste station fee. If you take the furniture to the station yourself, the bulky waste rate for a Tallinn resident is 10.30 €/m³, and some waste types are accepted at 0 € in limited quantities. Tallinn waste stations accept usable furniture at 0 €.

How does payment work?

Private customers pay on the spot right after loading and receive the delivery note and the necessary documents. With companies we agree the payment method in advance – usually by bank transfer against an invoice; please send the company details beforehand. After that we take everything to the waste station officially ourselves.

How the work goes and the schedule

Do I have to take the furniture apart myself?

No. The crew takes large furniture apart themselves when needed – wardrobes, a corner sofa or a bed. Dismantling is part of the working time.

Do you carry the furniture out even without a lift?

Yes. A high floor without a lift adds working time, so include the floor and whether the building has a lift in your enquiry.

How quickly can you come?

We reply to an enquiry within a few hours and usually start within 1–3 days. We work weekends and evenings by prior agreement.

Do you take away just a couple of items?

Yes. We take away a single sofa or wardrobe just as well as clearing a whole flat, house, office or cellar. For a small job the minimum charge applies – 1 hour.

Practical questions

Where can you take old furniture in Tallinn?

Old furniture counts as bulky waste. It is accepted by the Tallinn waste stations (Pärnamäe, Pääsküla, Rahumäe, Paljassaare) and the circular economy centres (Lilleküla, Lasnamäe). Removal of furniture left beside a rubbish container has to be ordered by the waste holder, for example the housing association. We take the furniture to the station for you.

What do you not take away?

We do not transport paints, varnishes, oils, chemicals or other hazardous waste. The waste station does not accept mixed municipal waste.

Which areas do you work in?

We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well. In central Tallinn (Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe and the near ends of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita) no travel time is added. On the outskirts of Tallinn and in Harju County (e.g. Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Viimsi, Tiskre, Peetri) travel time from our base at Mustamäe tee 6b to the site and back is added.

Do you also work with companies?

Yes, we serve both private customers and companies. Companies can also pay by bank transfer and we provide the waste station receipt if needed.

Can you bring new furniture home and take the old away?

Yes. We bring new furniture home from the shop, carry it up and assemble it if needed. At the same time we take the old furniture away and hand it over officially at the waste station.

We also do moving, home delivery and furniture assembly

Besides removal we help with the whole process – all from one contact.

A convenient solution: we bring the new furniture home and take the old away at the same time.
