IKEA and other furniture assembly in Tallinn and Harju County
IKEA furniture assembly is our core service – PAX wardrobes, BILLY shelves, cabinets, chests of drawers, beds and tables. We also assemble other makers furniture and we fit curtain rails, mirrors, light fittings and TVs. The work is done by furniture joiners who work with furniture every day. Price: 40 €/hour per specialist.

IKEA furniture assembly
PAX wardrobes, BILLY shelves, MALM and HEMNES chests of drawers, beds, tables and whole wall units. We assemble IKEA furniture every day – we know the instructions by heart, we have the right tools and we know how to adjust doors and drawers properly. That is why the work goes quickly and the furniture lasts.

Because we also build bespoke furniture, our specialists know how to find custom solutions and how to adjust doors and drawers properly. We do not assemble kitchen units.
How much does IKEA furniture assembly cost?
The labour is 40 € per hour per furniture specialist, minimum 2 hours with one specialist or 1.5 hours with two. The price depends on how much furniture there is and how complicated it is.

- For a larger job several specialists come
- Prices include VAT and apply in Tallinn and Harju County
- If needed we also bring the furniture from the shop

Installation work – curtain rails, mirrors, shelves and TV wall mounts – 48 € per hour per specialist, minimum 2 hours with one specialist or 1.5 hours with two.
Tip: before we arrive, check that all the parts and fixings are in the package. A missing part is the most common reason a job drags on.
The standard rate applies Mon–Fri 8–18, Sat 10–18 and Sun 12–18. We work evenings and weekends by agreement: a 15% surcharge applies to work starting from 18:00 and 30% from 23:00. See also the full price list and terms.

Travel time and areas
We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well.
No travel time added
Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe, the near end of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita.
Travel time to the site and back is added
For example Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Mähe, Merivälja, Pirita-Kose, Pärnamäe, the far end of Lasnamäe, Tiskre, Peetri, Luige, Järveküla, Loo, Muraste, Haabneeme, Randvere, Kose, Maardu, the municipalities of Viimsi, Harku, Rae, Saue, Saku, Kiili and Jõelähtme, and areas further away.
- If the loading place is on the outskirts of Tallinn or in Harju County, travel time from our base to the site and back after the work is added to the working time.
- Outside Harju County a time or kilometre charge is added for the trip to the site and back to the base in Tallinn.
- The start and end point for the calculation is our base at Mustamäe tee 6b, Tallinn. We calculate the route and the time using Google Maps.
- After the first hour we count the time in 15-minute steps – every quarter hour started counts.

Do you assemble IKEA furniture?
IKEA furniture assembly is our core service. We assemble PAX wardrobes with interiors and doors, BILLY shelves, MALM and HEMNES chests of drawers, beds, tables and other IKEA furniture. Other makers furniture as well.
Do you also assemble kitchen units?
No, we do not assemble kitchen units. All other furniture – wardrobes, cabinets, shelves, beds, tables and chests of drawers – is our everyday work.
Do you assemble an IKEA PAX wardrobe?
Yes, PAX is one of our most frequent jobs. We assemble the frame, fit the interior – rails, drawers, shelves – and fit the doors or sliding doors and adjust them properly. We also fix the unit to the wall. It usually takes 4–8 hours, depending on the width and the interior.
Do you do other installation work as well?
Yes. We fit curtain rails, light fittings, partition panels, wall fittings, frames, mirrors and TVs – at home and in the office.
Who does the work?
The work is done by furniture specialists – joiners who build and assemble furniture every day. That way the job is done properly and the furniture lasts longer.
Can you bring the furniture yourselves?
We can also bring the furniture from the shop and carry it up – see furniture transport. One order can cover both the delivery and the assembly.
Do you take old furniture apart and remove it?
Yes. We take the old furniture apart and take it to the waste station. The station fee is added to the removal – see old furniture removal.
What should I prepare before you arrive?
It helps if the furniture packages are already in the room and there is space to unpack. If you can, check that all the parts and fixings are there – missing parts are the most common reason a job drags on.
How quickly can you come?
We reply to an enquiry within a few hours and usually start within 1–3 days. We work weekends and evenings by prior agreement.
How does payment work?
Private customers pay on the spot right after loading and receive the delivery note and the necessary documents. With companies we agree the payment method in advance – usually by bank transfer against an invoice; please send the company details beforehand. After that we take everything to the waste station officially ourselves.
Do you also work with companies?
Yes. We assemble and install furniture in offices, shops and showrooms. For companies we issue an invoice.
Which areas do you work in?
We work in Tallinn and across Harju County, and by agreement outside Harju County as well. In central Tallinn (Kesklinn, Kadriorg, Kristiine, Põhja-Tallinn, Mustamäe and the near ends of Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Pirita) no travel time is added. On the outskirts of Tallinn and in Harju County (e.g. Laagri, Pääsküla, Kakumäe, Viimsi, Tiskre, Peetri) travel time from our base at Mustamäe tee 6b to the site and back is added.
