Tallinn has seven waste stations, each with its own opening hours. Here are all the addresses, times and 2026 fees in one place – and what the stations do not accept, so you do not drive there for nothing.
The short answer. Metal, electronics, paper and cardboard, untreated wood and tyres cost 0 €. Bulky waste costs a resident 10.30 €/m³ and a company 31 €/m³. In winter, from 1 November to 31 March, most stations are open Mon–Fri 14–19 and Sat–Sun 10–15. Bring your ID card.
We are not a waste station
aravedu.ee is not a landfill or a waste station – you cannot bring your things to us. We are a removal service: we come to you, carry things out, load the van and take it to the station on your behalf. We work under waste permit L.JÄ/333085.
If you have a car and the time, take it yourself – this page has all the addresses, hours and fees. If you do not, that is what we are here for.

What the waste station does not accept
- Mixed municipal waste and food waste – those go into the building container.
- Hazardous waste in an ordinary load: paints, solvents, oils, chemicals. The city runs separate collection rounds for these in the districts.
- Animal waste and medical waste.
- Loose asbestos – sheeting is accepted, but packaged and by prior arrangement.
Twice a year up to 3 m³ costs 0 €
The city bulky waste campaign. A couple of times a year Tallinn runs a week-long campaign during which bulky waste can be handed over at 0 €.
The campaign does not apply to construction waste, hazardous waste or electronics. Housing associations and legal entities do not qualify. The city publishes the exact dates each time – it is worth watching tallinn.ee.
Worth knowing before you drive
Metal, electronics and cardboard into a separate pile. Those cost 0 €, and in a mixed load they would be charged as bulky waste – the difference runs to tens of euros.
Charging is by cubic metre. A cabinet taken apart takes half the space of a whole one – and costs accordingly less.
The resident rate applies on the basis of Tallinn registration. Without a document the company rate is charged.
If the waste comes from a company, the receipt is needed for environmental reporting. Ask for it on the spot.
When it is worth calling us
Example: a three-seater sofa and two cabinets, 3rd floor with a lift.
The difference is not only the labour: a private person pays 10.30 €/m³ at the station and a company 31 €/m³, and via us the company rate applies. So if you have a car and a free day, taking it yourself is always cheaper – we say that honestly. It is worth calling us when the item is heavy, the floor is high, or there simply is no time.
Cannot get to the waste station yourself?
We take it away and hand it over in our name. We provide the receipt on request.
